UWorld Cares grants aimed at supporting the advancement of middle and high school
education, STEM initiatives, and financial literacy
DALLAS (June 6, 2024) – UWorld, a leading provider of online learning tools for high-stakes exams, today awarded $175,000 in grants to 11 non-profit organizations in North Texas to uplift local communities through educational advancement. The annual grants, administered through UWorld Cares, serve as part of a company-wide commitment to drive success in education by investing in the communities it serves. UWorld’s annual grant helps fund critical programs that promote middle and high school education, STEM, and financial literacy for underserved and underrepresented students.
Each of the grant winners receive funding to supplement and improve their in-school and afterschool programming, entrepreneurial programs, STEM education, financial literacy, and philanthropic objectives. Winners include the following organizations:
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas
- Communities In Schools of the Dallas Region;
- Communities In Schools of Greater Tarrant County
- Dallas Afterschool
- The Gems Camp
- Girls Inc. of Metropolitan Dallas
- Jubilee Park
- Junior Achievement of the Chisholm Trail;
- Junior Achievement of Dallas
- Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship
- Scottish Rite for Children

UWorld Cares funding aims to expand and enhance existing educational programs set forth by local organizations. Such programs are essential for creating a stronger pathway to higher education, addressing skills gaps in the workforce, and removing barriers to higher education. This initiative extends the company’s philanthropic efforts by focusing on three pillars of charitable giving: community grants, employee giving, and employee volunteerism.
In 2023, UWorld employees volunteered more than 800 hours in their local communities, while the company and its employees donated more than $83,000 to more than 120 organizations around the country through employee giving and matching gifts. Since 2020, UWorld has granted more than $12.8 million in product scholarships to aspiring accountants, lawyers, and graduate school students.
